Xanadu

Mum: You remember Xanadu !

Me: yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah .. that was like .. 23 years ago !

Mum: well when all the kids would watch cartoons and Bo2lz .. you would watch Xanadu !

Me: ahhh .. am weird since i was two ! Bring it on ma .. hit me when am down !

Mum: think about it this way .. you were advanced from your age since you were two !

Me: and that’s supposedly to make me feel better?

yeah .. i had that conversation tonight ,and i kept blaming mum for me being a smart “Kid” and all ,cause she said that before going to Kindergarten i knew more than 200 words in English .. like know which is which !and that if i was “dumb-errr” than i am today ,and weaker maybe .. just maybe things wouldn’t have been tough for me ..and i would have been more accepted !

so i downloaded the movie,and after all went to sleep after watching more than 5 episodes of GLee (YEah they are hocked up just like me .. hehehehehe)

i sat in bed and started my rituals and stuff then i played the movie and i fast forward it to my favorite part ..and after it’s finished ,after i got off bed and started dancing like i used to when i was a kid .. and hopping around and screaming my lungs out (Xanadu .. now we are here in Xanaduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu) and please note it’s 5 am ..

i had that smile on my face and it hit me ..

now i know why i have a good beat in me and why the hell i love musicals?

it’s because of Xanadu ..

i love that fact actually .. Xanadu is one of my favorite movies of all times,it’s something like Glee ..it brings joy to the sad heart : )

well im a nut-job .. i know !

but i always dreamed since i was a little girl that my life would be more of a musical play !

like when am sad ,the music would be turned on ..and all my feelings would be expressed in moves and dances .. and high pitch notes .. !

or that when am in love,i’d be sitting there and my love would walk right in,and all the lights would be switched off and just a spot light would be concentrating on him !

or if am in traffic ,a car beside me would start honking the horn and all would follow in a beat where everyone in the street would start dancing around and swaying !

(well i told you am a nut job before .. i know! )
